About J.K. Hutton
As the son of a real estate developer, James K. Hutton has a lifetime of experience in many aspects of real estate.
He attended Western Washington University where he obtained a B.A. in Finance. After completing his graduation, James worked as a loan originator for Centrust Bank. He bought and sold several properties over the years. Later, he worked for a local developer.
He started his career as residential real estate appraiser in 1991 after which he obtained his appraiser certification. In 1999, he started J.K. Hutton Appraisal. Hutton has a background in construction and finance, which gives him a deep understanding of a home’s value.
